With so many clinics in Istanbul marketing to international patients, narrowing down the right surgeon can feel overwhelming. Here are the questions worth asking before you commit and what a confident, transparent answer should sound like.

"What are your qualifications, specifically?"
A clear answer names actual credentials — board certification, academic title, years in active practice not just "years of experience" in vague terms.
"Will I speak with the surgeon directly, or only a sales coordinator?"
You should have a real consultation with the surgeon performing your procedure, where you can ask questions and discuss your specific anatomy not just a coordinator quoting a package price.
"Can I see a 3D simulation of my likely results?"
This shows the clinic is planning your individual procedure, not applying a generic approach to every patient.
"What happens if I need a revision?"
A confident, experienced surgeon will have a clear answer here, including their revision rate and policy rather than avoiding the question.
"What does aftercare look like once I've flown home?"
You should leave with a clear plan: how to reach your care team, what to watch for, and when a follow-up (in person or virtual) is scheduled.
"Can I speak with previous patients, or see verified reviews?"
Genuine clinics are usually glad to point you toward verified Google or Trustpilot reviews, and many can connect you with previous patients willing to share their experience.
If a clinic answers these questions clearly and without hesitation, that's a strong sign you're in good hands wherever you ultimately decide to go.
